Patrick and Thomas' Carsounds

Notes below are from Thomas Brown:

repco.wav: modified Patrick's original brabham sound to be slightly higher in pitch and a little louder [Alison modified this sound to be a little quieter so it wouldn't drown
out the other cars. Thomas' sound is repco100.wav]

brmh16.wav: Also a mod of Pat's BRM engine, evened out the pitch so that its uniform, and boosted the sound as above for more powerful sounding engine.

weslake.wav: taken from an incar recording of a Ferrari F40 lowered pitch as per your request

ferrari.wav: the P4 Ferrari sample you're already familiar with, with increased pitch as per your request

Cosworth.wav: From a 1955 Jaguar D-type. Filtered to add more midrange growl than my original effort. A really great sound for the Eagle and Lotus in GPL.

mur.wav: taken from a Matra 670, needs some work, but has great potential, let me know what you think

eag.wav: taken from an incar recording of a Ferrari F50

[above two can only be used if you apply Nigel Pattinson's Carsound utility, which changes the names of the sound files used by GPL to fer.wav, eag.wav, brm.wav, bra.wav, cos.wav, and adds eag.wav and mur.wav. The Carsound utility is available at The Pits, http://www.theuspits.com. The Carsound utility is at http://www.theuspits.com/owheel/gpl/files/carsound.zip. I've heard that this works even with GPL 1.1, but haven't tried it yet.]

Enjoy Alison, any feedback is welcome, remember, my new email is
