ekPBFvue.exe
version 2.00
10/24/2000

FreeWare... pass it around.

Lets you view GPL Screen shots.
Using ekkPBFvue, navigate to a .PBF file, double click on it to see a small image.

Click on the Zoom button to see a larger, scrollable image.
While it is Zoomed, you can use the left mouse button to 'Crop' the picture.

Click on the SaveAs button to save the file as as any of these formats:
TGA, PBF, BMP, JPG, PCX, PNG, TIF, WMF. (see note #3 below).

note.. the image is displayed as soon possible with a 5 second maximum time allowed for the conversion to occur. if the .PBF file is not converted within 5 seconds, then an error message is displayed. if you continually get an error message, go into the ABOUT window and click on the 'Show Details' button and make note of the paths shown. if any appear incorrect, send me a note with the contents of the Details window.

note #2.. it was pointed out to me that if you put the ekPBFvue.exe program into a folder that has a 'dot' in the path (like "c:\gplstuff\image.converters\") then it will fail to convert the PBF files... so make sure the path that you put ekPBFvue.exe into has no 'dots' in it.

note #3.. if you crop an image, and then save it in a .PBF format, it will save the original uncropped image. i don't have at the moment a way to save a 'portion' of a .PBF formatted file.
